Welcome to the second edition of SoSure’s newsletter. In this newsletter, you will get an update on how far we have come with SoSure Backup, and what we see as the current and coming challenges for us in an exciting developing area.

Everyday, the amount lost in the digital world increases, and the need for a reliable and automatic backup solution grows along with it. The largest firms have, for a long time, known how priceless their data is, making them aware of how essential it is to backup data. But also, the small and medium sized businesses are aware that data is often a firms most important operative that needs to be secured in an easy and reliable way.

SoSure Backup Launched

On June 13 we officially launched SoSure Backup on our website, where it has been available for download. You most likely already know our website, and we very much hope you will again visit us at www.sosure.com where you can download, try and test SoSure Backup for yourself. It is free to download and install and we hope you will take advantage of this opportunity. We have already gotten very positive feedback on the program and its performance. Should you have any comments, positive or negative, you are always very welcome to contact us. The solution has been 100% reliable, the data flow has functioned properly and the computer resources and internet connection are only minimally effected. Previous customers have also been satisfied with our user friendly interface, which we are ourselves very proud of after working hard to develop the easiest, most effective program on the market today.

The coming time will offer exciting challenges for us. Here, our goal is to get out first and foremost as extensively as possible. We are, at the moment, in the process of planning a large campaign that is sure to bring SoSure Backup out to more firms and people worldwide.

Massive advancements for backup

Businesses have already seen the light and now, private users are also opening their eyes to the necessity of backing up their family photos, videos and other priceless documents and files. But many people have a difficult time finding the right backup solution for them in the sea of products that currently defines the market for its massive advancements. We believe that people and firms want solutions that offer them the best technology and storage of their data by a professional company. That is why, we have decided to bring IBM-technology out the worlds users of digital media.

Today, new backup solutions are being introduced regularly on the internet. The market for these solutions is large and constantly developing. Therefore, there is room for many players who can offer different forms of backup solutions. The customers we are going after are the ones to who value security and user friendliness. We deliver this through the use of IBM technology, together with focus on design and simplicity. By combining IBM’s throughly tested and secure technology with high user friendliness, we have found a way to do this that we believe is unique in this market. We will deliver the worlds best backup solution, giving our users the peace of mind to sleep well at night knowing that their data is secured in IBM’s fireproof data center 24 hours a day.

New and important contacts for SoSure

I was invited to speak at IBM’s conference, Pulse, in Orlando, USA. Here I gave a talk about what it was like for a new business, such as SoSure, to be a partner with a well established giant like IBM. For us, it has of course been fantastic, as IBM has, from the start, believed so much in our ideas, and that the whole way through, has supported us in everything they can.

The partnership with IBM has driven the business forward and opened doors for SoSure. At Pulse, I met a lot of key people behind IBM Tivoli- technology, who are fundamental for SoSure’s backup solution. I had the opportunity to disucuss opportunities and challenges with people such as Al Zollar, head of Tivoli, and Ursula Richter, who is responsible for the development of Tivoli. As a new business, these types of meetings opened many new doors for SoSure. I have, in general, gone on trips and met many exciting people both from IBM and other firms, giving us new opportunities to work with everyday.

Large potential for white label

We have a continuously running dialog with current and potential partners, as we believe it is only through these relationships that we can develop.

We are especially focused on finding and creating new agreements with firms, that can distribute SoSure Backup to even more users around the world. We expect a lot of success from our white label-solutions. They are a unique opportunity for firms, with previous customers who have never had their eyes opened up to the opportunities in backup that allow them to, for a small amount of money, secure their data. Thus, we believe that working together is the way ahead and we are constantly in the process of developing new agreements with firms that, through an agreement with us, can offer their customers our reliable and user friendly backup solution directly to their exisiting customers.
